Here We Go Again
Just when I start to get over the whole trans fats and baby bottle banning issues, New York comes out with bitch banning. They actually are wasting tax money spending time putting in legislation to ban the terms "bitch" and "ho". What do these people do for chrissake... sit around and make this shit up. Do they not have better things to do with their time???
So this got me to thinkin'..... if this crap goes through and people in New York City are truly banned from using the words "bitch" and "ho", what will that mean for the broadcast of the Eukanuba dog show and more importantly Westminster? Will the commentators no longer be able to refer to the female show dogs as bitches??? I mean, will they get arrested right there, live, on television? And what about Santa Clause? Is it OK to say "ho" if you say it three times in a row fast? What if Santa has the hiccups and says ho and then all of a sudden can't get out the last two hos? Will he get a citation?
Yes... my argument is ridiculous.... but no more ridiculous than the legislation I am arguing about. I am going to be in New York in September.....guess I better start saving bail money.
Lisa

WOOP, WOOP!
I think you need to get your language straight, Missy:
1) "THE Academy" is in Annapolis NOT West Point
2) The phrase is "BEAT ARMY!!!"
Please don't thank me for correcting you, I consider it my duty.

OOPs... you're right JFH....I should have said United States Military Academy or USMA. We certainly don't want to get the two confused now do we... Daniel wouldn't appreciate that... lol And the phrase IS "GO ARMY"... thank you very much.

Y'all going to the Army-Navy game... my wife and I are (if you don't have tickets now, forget about it... Baltimore's stadium is smaller than Phillys and alumni tickets sold out the day they were offered)

I have to agree with Lisa here. As the son of a West Point Grad (Class of 60') I was raised not to lie, cheat, or steal, nor tolerate those that do. Hence my dislike for government.
GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY WHHHOOOORRRAAAHHH

Let's see, 30 year reunion, graduated at 21-22 years of age - that's 50-ish. I knew it, I just knew it! Lisa likes us mature, older types. May be a chance for me yet. Something to look forward to.
