NOBODY GETS AWAY WITH CONSPIRACIES!! There are too many people and evidence involved to remain a secret for any amount of time.

Hey, JFH, come over here and say that!
All of this got investigated in that "Grand Jury" probe, didn't it (I'm not positive, but I think it was) -- and the judgment was a pure "Not guilty" on all charges? Despite the millions of dollars Ken Starr had pissed away?
Posted by: dimmer | Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at 02:28 PM
heh, to use your terms, dimmer, "not guilty" doesn't imply "innocent".
(Although I believe that not ONE of these deaths had to do with any action by the Clintons...)

Answer to the question at top....NO!!! No Way!! Never Again!!
Now let me explain:
October 11, 2002
H.J. Res 114
A joint resolution to authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq.
YEAs - 77
NAYs - 23
Senator Clinton (D-NY) - YEA
I will never again vote for a PRO-WAR Democrat. Votes have consequences.

None of this makes any sense as long as Dick Morris remains alive.

LOL@RD.
A relative recently forwarded this to me asking if I thought there was anything to it. And I told her maybe, some of them.
Sometimes people have secrets they'll kill to keep. Especially people rich enough to hire somebody competent to do the dirty work.
The would-be Enron whistleblower who "committed suicide" before that whole mess broke is a good example. Was he depressed or murdered? Tough call.
Of course, a lot of these are just such a stretch, "maybe" is the best you can do. Compare 1, above:
"1-James McDougal - Clinton's convicted Whitewater partner died of an apparent heart attack, while in solitary confinement. He was a key witness in Ken Starr's investigation."
I read that and thought of former Bush administration official and convicted Enron conspirator Ken Lay. I read about Clinton opponents falling out of the sky and I think of Mel Carnahan (he was the corpse who beat John Ashcroft for Senate in 2000, if you don't recall) and Paul Wellstone.
Fact is, I wouldn't put these kind of dirty tricks past either political faction. These are raw, power-hungry opportunists. We've seen just how brutal a game politics can be.
So why would anyone assume political assassination is off the table?
And to answer JFH, you're flat wrong. People get away with murder all the damn time.

Lisa may have a valid point here...
Der Fuhrer, Ronald Reagan and James Brady, both survived the assassination attempt by John Hinckley, Jr.
And
Harry Whittington, survived being shot in the face by Dick Cheney.
So elect NEO-CONS to office to keep more Americans alive...

All of you have to admit there is a shit load of people who have been affiliated with the Clintons who are dead now. There's no disputing that.

"I will never again vote for a PRO-WAR Democrat. Votes have consequences."
Certainly a position you are welcome to have, but we should keep in mind that the vote was to give the president authority to use force should all other options prove non-productive. As such, it was a "Do you stand behind the CiC or not?" vote, that was then used somewhat (err) liberally.
That is a shit load of people, but by the same token there are about 20 people who I've known/dealt with who are dead now (a sad proportion by suicide) and trust me, I didn't do nufink to help them along the way. (There are others who I'd be more than happy to see pushing up daisies, but those bastards seem to have charmed lives.)

Heh. I didn't even realize the Mena train track kids were in there.
Just to put this out there, the people who want to tie those kids to Clinton do so by way of a plot to fly cocaine into the US by military cargo plane to an air base in Mena, Arkansas.
That is to say: The inclusion of the Mena kids in the list is meant to imply that then-Governor Clinton was in on the whole alleged Reagan-CIA crack smuggling operation that I'm sure we've all heard of.
(I'm not endorsing this theory, just letting you know what it entails. I watched a documentary on "the Mena connection" once.)
Incidentally, Bill Clinton also drove Warren Commission member Hale Boggs to the airport before his plane went down in Alaska. And yes, people have therefore suggested that Clinton's a part of the JFK cover-up as well.

Dimmer said: "the vote was to give the president authority to use force should all other options prove non-productive. As such, it was a "Do you stand behind the CiC or not?" vote, that was then used somewhat (err) liberally."
Then how did 23 Senators get it right? And Ms. Clinton, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Biden, and Mr. Edwards (all four running for President) Get it wrong?
Posted by: IraqWarVeteran | Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at 01:07 AM
IWV, I honestly can't give you an answer for that. If I had been asked to vote on that item, not knowing what I know now, I'd have had to say yes. The 23 who said "No" either had extreme prescience, or a deeper gut feeling (or knew that they were not seeking re-election/or had no chance of not being re-elected: politics should rise above such concerns, but sadly at times...)
At this point, with the people requiring that the troops be brought home, and the president standing alone in denying this, does this make you feel better or worse? Do you accept that the "authorization" was intended to enable and support the CiC?
