Nutty Same Brownback
The fact that Sam Brownback blocked this nomination is nuts. Civil commitment ceremonies aren't illegal and all this woman did was go to one. This man wants to be president? Not likely, if only for the fact that he has no common sense. Hey, I bet Dick Cheney has been to one of these? Does that make him unqualified to be VP? I don't think so. There are a ton of reasons why Dick Cheney shouldn't be VP, but this isn't one of them.
Nuts, I tell you; nuts!
Chris

Will there be a movie.....'Brownback Mountain'?

I can see how you'd be disappointed in someone who disagrees with an issue you feel strongly about. And you are entitled to your opinion how you wish to classify such individuals. "Nut" is as good as any. I can appreciate Brownbacks position on this issue that touches both on judicial activism and sustaining some platitude of traditional marriage. He was open about what he had done and why he did it. And although he pushed it farther than most of us feel comfortable with, he did back off and and explain his intentions. I find his openness and honesty somewhat refreshing. I'll never agree with everything a candidate might believe, but I want them capable of open discourse and flexibility. It's gonna be an interesting election.
