It was a year ago today that Chris and I, along with Colonel Hunt, Oliver North and Brian Kilmeade of FOX News met Josh Sparling at Walter Reed. Actually we met a lot of wonderful men and women that day. But what happened to Josh made headlines. Josh is the soldier who had received that disgusting so called Christmas Card where it appears that a child wishes him dead.
Here's my post from a year ago.
Remember this...
This is what was sent to Josh while trying to recoup at Walter Reed. We brought it to your attention here at TwoBabes and your response was wonderful.
Well it's one year later and Josh is still at Walter Reed, having to have his leg amputated after a long attempt to save it. Michelle Malkin has an update on Josh.
There are many heros at Walter Reed.... Chris and I were fortunate to have the honor of meeting some of them. If you would like to send these men and women something special, here's the address:
Red Cross
Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue NW
Heaton Pavillion
3EO5
Washington, DC 20307
Wishing Josh a very speedy recovery.
Lisa

Love to see the support of our troops and with Pfc. Joshua Sparling’s life story it is truly an awesome thing you do in supporting our men and women in our fine military. First time to your site and I like what I see, intelligent discussion even with opposite views, love it. I my self am rather new to all this so forgive me if I'm not a spot on blogger. Again, OUTSTANDING blog today and I only hope that Pfc. Joshua Sparling gets a ton of letters and support, God Bless.

After I was Medivacced out of Panama I went to Walter Reed immediatly. They treated me first class. It was a mind opening experience. I will never forget them for the wonderful care they gave me as well as fixing most of my physical problems at that time. They were great. Hands down Heros in my book. God Bless Them.
GODS Speed to all those who have followed me through those infamous wards.

Yes! I do remember that day that you gals went there and what you wrote about the trip!
I'm just gonna buy an extra box of Christmas cards - actually, I could just cross off many on my list who don't need or appreciate one !! - and put something happy or funny in them. If everyone did that, all the guys (and gals) would be covered!! We gotta let them know that we love them and pray for them and thank them for what they have done and have sacrificed for us.
