Be Careful What You Wish For...
...you might just get it... but not in this case. NBC Dateline is setting up NASCAR fans to portray them as anti-Muslim bigots. Michelle Malkin has the full story but here is just a blip of the email sent out to a Muslim group:
I have been talking with a producer of the NBC Dateline show and he is in the process of filming a piece on anti-Muslim and anti-Arab discrimination in the USA. They are looking for some Muslim male candidates for their show who would be willing to go to non-Muslim gatherings and see if they attract any discriminatory comments or actions while being filmed....
...That said, I'm urgently looking for someone who can be filmed this April 1st weekend at a Nascar event (and other smaller events) in Virginia. NBC is willing to fly in someone and cover their weekend expenses. The filming would take place all day on Saturday and Sunday.
Now, is NBC so desperate for stories that they are now setting them up? I'm afraid they are going to be greatly disappointed in what they get...but you can guarantee that whatever they get, creative editing will produce what they want.

This show will never air, unless NBC is unbelievably stupid.

Just goes to show you that the liberal media is no longer content to report the news, now they have to make it up...

while this is questionable practice I'm not sure Republicans who paid journalists to report favorably on their policies and produced comercials to look like news to advocate their positions should criticize...me thinks there is enough hypocrisy to go around, no?

Chris is right. It is better to let the MSM pursue their typical pro dem leftist agenda to shape public opinion for free, rather than just reporting the news as it is. What challenge would there be in doing that?
Since I have yet to give one dime to any MSM outlet whatsoever, and I am a Republican, I call "BULLSHIT" on this NBC practice.
Their job is to report the news, not make it up as they go along.

If this demographic is free of anti-Muslim bigotry, then NBC will have nothing to tape but sports fans drinking, cheering, and being generally well-behaved and courteous to their Muslim friends. So why are you all so concerned?

Yes, I mean, at least it's not the POTUSA stamping his little foot up and down and demanding his lapdog media only report "good news" from the warzone. Nice find.
