It happens all the time....

My son comes comes all the time telling me about how his teachers allow all kinds of Bush-bashing comments in their classrooms but if there is a comment agains Democrats, liberals or Clinton... the kid making the comment gets yelled at.

It's just blatant liberalism being spread throughout our education system.

This garbage is happening all over the country and the courts had better put the clamps down.

After the first day of my daughter's Junior year of high school, she announced "My history teacher really hates President Bush".

The very first day of school and my daughter had already been exposed to her teachers political views!

How nice it must be to have a captive audience of impressionable young minds.

It's bad enough that our colleges and universities are filled with intolerant pseudo-intellectual socialist instructors espousing their crap.

Bennish is yet another example of the political indoctrination running rampant in public schools, schools that too often see their mission as overruling the basic values of parents. The First Amendment is not a license for teachers to indoctrinate, or otherwise opine beyond the scope of the curriculum and school policy.

If teachers can't teach about 'controversial' issues without neglecting to present all major views fairly, then such issues need to be excised from the curriculum. Period.

The pervasive politicization of public education by teachers like Bennish is just another reason why freedom of choice through measures such as school vouchers is essential to a free society.

For last couple of weeks MSM and NPR (only English language radio I get for news off AFN) have been chortling about Delay and how he is facing "tough" opposition in this primary and how it was a good chance he might be beaten. Again this AM NPR announced "Delay, indicted by a Grand Jury, has "allegedly" (quotes added by me to allegedly for emphasis) won his primary with 64% (article this AM said 62%). http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11715225/

This is big news because someone finally caught it on tape, in the schools, and went forward with it. that is why it is big news. Finally, someone has proof that lefty teachers are indoctrinating our buckets of mush and all the left can do is claim VRWC and that this student had it out for the teacher, or that the comments were taken out of context.
