Biden is not helping himself with righties or the lefties. If this election is not a true turning point in the Iraq War, he may have blown any chance he had becoming President.

"If this election is not a true turning point in the Iraq War.."
Well we can only hope for utter failure there, eh HC???
Why is Biden there? Gee, why do whores do what they do?

Bombie I have told many times the war has been won only to find the war is far from over. I hope this finally the time you righties are right, but I am not holding my breathe.

Nor are you and your bretheren hoping for success, nor have you ever hoped for it.

The democrats hate this... they hate the fact that the Iraqis are having successful elections. They want us to fail.
Posted by:Lisa | Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 02:47 PM
And they can't say otherwise because their 'leaders' are putting them in that box with their own words.
Although I'm sure HC will try to argue against that anyway...

Mr. Biden is a political whore of the worst stripe, and he cannot be counted on by either side. He is truly a man of all seasons when it comes to expedient political opportunities. I find myself in agreement with HC in that Biden is showing everyone that he blows with the prevailing political winds. No one who has been paying attention will trust him.
BTW, estimates are that a significantly higher percentage of their population is voting than does the population of the US. That ought to shame us, that these people value their freedoms so much more and take them so much more seriously than we do. They risk possible injury and death to vote.
People, a great deal of good came out of this war, and these elections show some of that. Look at the expressions on the Iraqi faces at simply GETTING to do something as simple as VOTING. None of them have ever been able to have a say in their destinies before in their lives.
Motivates the hell outta me.

Someone needs to find out when Joe "Hairplugs" Biden bought his plane ticket to Iraq.

Why cannot the righties here believe that we lefties love our country just as much as the righties? You calling me a traitor shows your true feelings about Democracy.
Posted by:HC | Thursday, December 15, 2005 at 04:44 PM
I don't think you're a traitor, HC...I just think you and your kind are dangerous to our country's security.

Matt I feel much better. I am just a National Security Risk.

Uh Oh Lisa, now you've gone and done it. Bashing Biden...for shame!!! :)
Truly, the man sticks his finger up in the air and moves whichever way the wind blows. I have no respect for someone like that.

USMC we agree on a point. Is hell freezing over?

This isn't fair!!! Chris isn't here to "Stand By Her Man". (and forget the hairplugs, cause she will always see him young, as she did "back then" when she was in awe of him).
If Biden goes with the breeze ("blows with the prevailing political winds") quess that just makes him "a Democrat" (looking to run) Kerry, Hillary, finding out what the people want them to say TODAY. The only Democrats who don't do this are the FAR LEFT ones who will just stay there , but know there is no hope in winning a nomination.
Hey, guys, Gov. Romney has told us he will not run again for Gov. of Mass. If we are talking about Biden already, we can be talking about Romney already!
USA Steve, HEY! Motivates the hell outa me too! ALL to the credit of our brave military! Hope all the wounded watched today's elections with pride. THEY made this happen -the long lines of smiling voters, the old and young. AND even the ones who said they were voting so maybe the Americans could leave soon! YES! Are we offended? NO! Cause they can say anything they want in a free country~!! They, or their families, will not be killed for it! And of course they want us to go, wouldn'we say the same? Speaking their hearts and their truths.
We have done a good and right thing there.
I wish the President would speak about it more in the way we do! If he had not become Presdient it would not have happened. And, I guarrantee you that the wounded, and their families, and the families of the fallen, are proud today.
I keep remembering something Col. Hunt (I love that guy) said about Iraq, - that there should be a statue of an American soldier on every corner.
They are a great people. I think they WILL erect those statues.!

Searsie; I will keep you in my prayers. Please be careful in Iraq and I must say you very brave to volunteer to fight in the Iraq War. But, I know you are motivated as hell.

Wish I wasn't 55 and old and decrepit. (Sept. 12th 2001 I wished it more).
But, don't let that stop the prayers for me, HC. Just keep um'comin' please!

HC, there are those magical moments. BTW I don't think you are a national security risk. Maybe silly sometimes, and just stubborn.
But not risky.
