Has anyone else noticed it's a quiet Friday?
The southeast is overcast with rain, which is a blessing but isn't the sun shinning somewhere?

It is beautiful and sunny and cool here in central Illinois. The only problem right now is that there is a huge hawk circling over my baby kitten. I have to run outside and save him before he becomes the hawks lunch.

Well, if everything continues it will be cool here soon too, as the fronts moves our way.
And we'll get to enjoy 3 more months of FALL...NOT winter :)

We were sunny but now cloudy out here in Montana. We had 6-12 inches of snow, depending on what part of the city, dump on us 2 days ago. My large trees are broken and my lawn is a puddle, since it all melted in less than 36 hours. We're lucky though we only lost power for a few hours, most of the city was off for almost 24 hours. Hope you get rain from it and not our snow, crazy weather out here this week, going back up to 70.

That is hilarious. It needs to be a shirt or just a stamp to smack on your forehead. I love it. KY had it's first feeling of fall today. The high has been 56. Yesterday the high was upper 80's, index 90's. God bless KY. Our weather is schizophrenic. Hope all has a great weekend!!!

Sarah: "Our weather is schizophrenic."
ME: You must be in northern Kentucky...I'm from greater Cincinnati area...and that is how we describe our weather. Don't like the weather? Wait ten minutes...

Hey Matt,
I'm about three hours from you! I live in WV on the border of OH, KY.

Okay, I hate to break up this love fest. What do you think of this Matt? It just pisses me off more. If this is true, Bush is definitely not keeping his campaign promise.
... A footnote: President Bush had advised senators that his probable choice for the Supreme Court was federal Circuit Judge Consuelo Callahan of California. Bush touted Callahan's diversity as a Hispanic woman, but she is liberal enough to be recommended for the high court by Democratic Sen. Charles Schumer....

Sure doesn't sound like a Scalia or Thomas to me...

OK...if anyone cares...I've just spent this nasty rainy day traveling to Maryland to breed my golden...it poured the entire way up...it poured while we tried to get the deed done only to be unsuccessful...it poured tonight on my way back to the hotel...got lost...roamed the back roads of Maryland for an hour and a half at night in the rain...it was only by the grace of God that I found my way to my hotel...a chocolate milkshake was my dinner...drank it too fast, now I'm sick.
Happy weekend all.......

Sounds like that pretty much sucked...

Lisa
That sucks. I hope you feel better in the morning.

I feel bad for Lisa (and I'm sure in all that, she did not see Charles defend his position that Harriet should step down)(I always agree with him but this is the one time I wondered if he would agree with ME - since he usually supports the President) (and he DID!) (I knew he and I were on the same wavelength)
I am slow so do not know if this Bulletin thing was a bumper sticker or not - and how it connected to a discussion of the weather.
Whatever - my favorite bumper sticker says "Ted Kennedy's car killed more people than my gun".
The weekend weather in Massachusetts is pretty crappy.

Chris......this is open thread... anything goes babe. I love the Kennedy bumper sticker.
