Code Pink
Is being morbidly obese a prerequisite to becoming a member of Code Pink? Just curious.

That is because they are unemployed, milking the system, and eating at fast food restaurants. I guess Code Pink is just another name for "Fat Pigs"
Posted by:Rita | Monday, September 26, 2005 at 08:23 AM
IS THAT WHAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED A "FASHION RISK"?
(Please warn us before putting up scary things like those two.)

OK, what in the Hell is hanging from that hog's dress? Did she eat another Code Pink piglet? What is that? Did she eat her young? Wait, don't answer that question, I don't think any man in his right mind would jump on that thing.
Ewwww, that women needs to stay away from the fried twinkies...

Peace takes brains?
Ya know? That's just NOT right! Ewwww...All I keep hearing in my head is Aerosmith's "Pink" and then that picture?
Why that's enough to make a straight man turn gay!

Hey USMC... so I guess my shock factor worked, huh.
I went to the gym first thing this morning and swam for over an hour and will be having Slim Fast shakes for the rest of the month. I'm even thinking of turning in my pink John Deere hat for a light green or blue one.
Aarrgghhh......why couldn't they have been Code Fushia or Maroon.
Posted by:Lisa | Monday, September 26, 2005 at 11:21 AM
So that was YOU who posted that Lisa?
I had to have a little fun with that this morning. I showed the picture "Peace takes brains" to my husband right before I asked him if these jeans make my butt look big!
Worked like a charm!

A variation on a popular kids game just came to mind:
Hungry Hungry Pinkos.

Come on people, stop and think about what you are doing. Is it OK to discriminate against people who don't fit the standard build charts, or must they be morbidly obese before they can be discrinminated against? Or female and morbidly obese? Where do you draw the line? Against whom is it OK to discriminate?
Posted by:Sandi | Monday, September 26, 2005 at 01:29 PM
Sandi, it has nothing to do with discriminating against those two weirdos. One, they are idiots with Code Pinko. That makes them my enemies first off because they have no idea what their bullshit ideals can lead to. Second, to go out in public when you have so little fashion sense and pride in yourself invites my attention. If they don't want to be fucked with they should not look so fucked up. There is NO overt act of discrimination going on here other than to make fun of them because they are freaks. No one is making them ride the short bus. No one is refusing to provide them service because they take up two seats (or more). Get over it, now.
Posted by:USMC Steve | Monday, September 26, 2005 at 03:53 PM
Sandi...lighten up. I'm not discriminating against these two. I make fun of all liberals. Just ask Chris and HC.

People, first let me clarify a misconception that I obviously left you all with. I do not in any way, shape, or form agree with the Code Pinkos. I think their actions are totally abhorent and I think their thought process (such as it is) leaves much to be desired. Please, if you want to discuss their words and their actions, I will be right there with you.
Discrimination is defined as a prejudiced or prejudicial outlook, action, or treatment. This was illustrated by the very first comment to this post. "That is because they are unemployed, milking the system, and eating at fast food restaurants." Rita looked at pictures of these women and immediately drew conclusions based solely on their appearance. She has no way of knowing, simply from these photos, whether her prejudgement of these women has any basis in fact. That is discrimination and something we as rational conservatives should avoid. That was really my only point.

OK Sandi... let's look at this from a realistic standpoint... they didn't get into the shape they're in by eating salads and going for 5 miles runs. I mean, look at that peniculus hanging down below the bottom of girlfriend's dress. The chick needs to concentrate on her health and forget about Code Pink. Don't you think she's taking the "it's what's inside that counts" a bit too far?
Posted by:Lisa | Monday, September 26, 2005 at 06:27 PM
Oh come on, what I referenced to about milking the system, etc. could be anyone. I work with workers comp and they milk the system and eat at fast food, and it has nothing to do with their weight. Anyway, I in no way would discriminate against anyone because of weight. The pictures were quite amusing, and I would not care who they were, it just happened to be those from Code Pinko, and the sign was quite amusing as well.

Lisa,
Sorry for the delay in responding - dinner with the family and getting the children to bed were higher priorities.
The Code Pinkos are not the subject of my comments; rather it is our reaction/response to them. My point is that we need to guard against falling into the leftist methodology of personally attacking and denigrating the messengers (e.g., Clinton painting Paula Jones as trailer trash) rather than marshalling cogent arguements against their message/talking points. You do not advance your cause by belittling others - at best, you merely look petty and diminish the effectiveness of your arguements; at worst, you create an underdog that garners the sympathy of others.

Now I know why I was told to make sure I don’t eat before I check out the post!
Good grief you guys ~ that is ABSOLUTELY disgusting.
That photo can not be for real ~ can it?
Posted by:Angela | Monday, September 26, 2005 at 09:15 PM
Sandi....everything you are saying is absolutely true. But I didn't post that article to further any cause. Well, maybe a cause for good fashion sense ...but that's it.
Yes, pointing out these ladies' weight issues and poor fashion sense is NOT the politically correct thing to do. Again, you are right.
However...I have never been accused of being politically correct. In fact, we kinda pride ourselves here on not being politically correct. Hell, I even diss blondes and I am one.
But OK, go ahead, tell me what a horrible person I am. I can take it.
Posted by:Lisa | Monday, September 26, 2005 at 09:49 PM
Lisa,
I have no intention of telling you that you are a horrible person. Sorry, but I do not believe that you are a horrible person. None of my comments were an attack on anyone; they were simply a plea to not denigrate people based on their appearance.
As for political correctness...not from me. Civility and honest discourse, yes; political correctness, no way.

Sandi,
We discriminate everyday based on observations. It is not necessarily a bad thing. Think about it.

I try to state facts as I see them, and the facts in evidence here are that the photos show two fat wackos with too much time on their hands and not enough good intelligence collecting skills. Code Pinko is a bullshit leftist group with an agenda that does not jive with America's best interests, but the leftists never have been concerned with our best interests, just in making noise. What I inferred (accurately) is that those two broads (literally) are two fat assholes with too much time on their hands and too few brain cells functioning due to the artery clogging. Those who disagree, fine, I really don't care.

I am never politically correct. :) I call it as I see it, and yes, they are FAT!
And maybe publishing the photo could help them in their lives. Maybe Weight Watchers will see this and offer their assistance with weight management. Or, maybe a baby hippo will run up thinking she was his "Mommy".
Sorry, sorry...just a joke. Don't get me wrong, I would not just come up to that person and say: "Hey, my dog is missing. You have not eaten him for lunch, have you?"
Look, I am not a conservative, I am not left of center. I am just human.

I'm tempted to put this post back to the top of the blog...for insentive purposes.
I look at those pictures and lose me appetite and am motivated to increase my swim time.

Code Pink is protesting the Iraqi War and the best you can come up with is they are fat.
I guess you know Bush's war of choice is a mistake, so you are reduced to making fun of people's weight problem.
How Sad.
