In her attempt to broaden my horizons, Chris asked...no, Chris made me choose a Left blog to visit and to participate in intelligent debate. Well...they called me a Troll....
I chose MyDD because Chris said they carried on intelligent conversations. Well, yeah, but only if you agreed with them. I proceeded to comment on a post about Karl Rove and was immediately called a GOP spokesperson ...Here's the exchange:
Me..
I can't believe what I'm reading... (1.00 / 4)
You are actually strategizing on how to continue to smear Rove in the media. If the democrats would actually focus on a plan for the country and stop focusing on smear tactics like trying to keep someone's name in the media, you would have a much better chance in '08.You have this belief that if you continue to attack the administration, the people in this country will rise up and follow you. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Go ahead, keep up the negativity.....it will bite you in the ass.
The Republicans have control of the House, Senate and Presidency, not to mention the majority of the governorships. There is a reason for that.
freedc responded..
Spare me your GOP talking points (3.00 / 1)
dead giveaways:
"smear Rove" -- smear implies that he doesn't deserve criticism for leaking classified information and then lying to President Bush about it (or maybe Bush is lying)"Democrats focus on a plan" -- the Democratic plan is radically different from the current GOP one, which is to give away our country to well connected oil interests and other large corporations like Halliburton, which have squandered our tax dollars and continue to do so as long as they keep people like Tom DeLay well fed and on the golf green. The Democratic plan is to focus on health care, Medicare, Medicaid, energy independence, environmental conservation, port security, and the fight against Al Qaeda (remember Osama?), all of which have been neglected by the Bush Administration and Hill Republicans, who are busy trying to intervene in personal medical decisions, scare people into privatizing Social Security, and figure out ways to waste more lives and money in the Middle East.
"attack the administration" -- again, classic GOP move to try and delegitimize dissent by calling it "attacks", as if there is something wrong with criticizing the clueless Bush Administration who did nothing about Osama until he blew up our World Trade Center and a chunk of the Pentagon and let him go at Tora Bora, who dragged us into a quagmire chasing nonexistent WMDs in Iraq, who made up intelligence to support the invasion and then leaked classified information to the press to smear (now I'm using it correctly) the person who dared admit that the "evidence" was bogus.
"negativity" -- another RNC buzzword, dreamed up to discredit any criticism of said idiocy. As long as the GOP in the White House and Congress continue to take lobbyists' bribes, lie, cover up, and fumble incompetently with our tax money and our troops and our courts and laws, you they and their apologists should expect a whole lot of negativity. I prefer to call it patriotic resistance.
And of course, always end with some gloating over the last election results. Don't even get me started on what passes for elections in this country.
Trying to turn MyDD into MyGOPTALKINGPOINTS? Please spare us. We're not that dumb.
Me...
My my...aren't we defensive today.Let's clarify some things shall we...
1. "The Democratic plan is to focus on health care, Medicare, Medicaid, energy independence, environmental conservation, port security, and the fight against Al Qaeda..."
Focus all you want...but I haven't heard anything from any Dem on what exactly they would DO.
2. "..the clueless Bush Administration who did nothing about Osama until he blew up our World Trade Center and a chunk of the Pentagon..."
Sorry babe, I believe you are referring to Clinton. Bush had only been in office 6 months when the 9/11 attacks took place.
And..if Bush lied about WMD's, then so did Russia, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and England because all of the intel they had confirmed what Colin Powell was stating to the UN.
and finally,
3. Now you are questioning the elections in this country because you didn't get your way. How "left" of you. Don't forget, it was the Democrats that wanted to allow felons to vote but block the overseas military vote. Gee, I wonder why.
The citizens of this country spoke and spoke loudly.

The more post the more you sound like a GOP spokeperson. Some how I do not think the GOP wants to help Democrats.Me again..I never said I was here to help the Dems. I was forced here by my blog partner. I'm the red-stater half of our blog. But I have to say the debate here is sassy and intelligent. I do like that. Now back to your comment....I still haven't heard what the Dem's "grand plan" is that they are so "focused" on.
BTW...
Has anyone here mentioned the London bombings of today?
Does anyone over here even know about them?
Does anyone over here even care?
Here's where it get down right funny....they blame Bush for the London bombings...read on...
SRconbio writes...
If you really care (none / 0)
about the Democrat grand plan go read the diary:Why is this So Hard? A Liberal Public Philosophy
by tgeraghtyBy the way Bush's people led to the London bombings when they named the Pakistani Mole during the election cycle.
Bush leaks for personal power, but his leaks hurts our national security. That is what I call an effective war on terrorism. No I meant treason..
Now...speaking of treason...they also want to impeach Bush for treason in reference to the Rove issue...but don't give a reason..
freedc writes...
"Sorry, we're busy dealing with this little treason problem right now."What they should be doing is suspending all Senate business including SCOTUS nomination hearings to impeach Bush over the Plame affair. Would you interrupt Watergate hearings to nominate a Nixon appointment to a lifetime post on the bench?
Me...
Oh please please explain to me how Bush has committed treason over the Plame issue?
I'm just dying to hear this.
Here is SRconbio's response...
Go away troll (none / 0)
---
It's obvious they don't like to be challenged nor do they like to have to answer legitimate questions. Why? Because they don't have any answers. All they can do is stomp their feet and scream and call names when someone questions what they have to say. Ha, they even attacked Chris.......called her an asshole...and she's one of them..but way more intelligent.
I'm going to continue to visit there. They've got to have someone who can debate an issue without acting like a spoiled far left whacko.
Lisa
UPDATE: After writing this, I went over to my pals Museum of Left Wing Lunacy and they talk about the FBI watching the Left. Boy, can I understand that.
Michelle Malkin talks about it as well.
UPDATE II: Read the latest insults from the left. I'm now a dumb troll. It just keeps getting better and better. I'll be adding to the rhetoric as the day goes on.

Lisa, bless your heart for trying, but now you know what happens when you invade a site that is half intellectual flophouse and half booby hatch.
You would have had better luck attempting to straighten out a den of copperhead snakes.

Good job, Lisa.
Notice how the nastiness rises in volume when you demand solutions to their whining? "Get lost troll." That's rich. Why not offer some solutions to the things they think matter more than national security.
I'm glad you pointed out Bush had been in office six months before 9/11. That gripe really sticks in my throat. 90% of the terrorism ,as you all showed from yesterday's pictures, took place before Bush entered office. God, what fools.
Treason? Impeachment? Why aren't they asking why Valerie Plame recommended her husband for the trip to Niger. No one seems to want to follow that story. I bet it is an interesting one.

And another thing - if these people think they're so smart, why wouldn't they welcome an opposing view and go for some honest debate? Honest debate is a good thing.
Oh. Maybe because they can't debate. You can't debate and whine with no solutions at the same time. D'oh.
Instead they resort to name-calling and tell you to get lost. Nice, intelligent people.

Bin Laden has been a thorn in our side since the Reagan admin.Remember Ollie North testifing to [Thebraindead]Eddie Kennedy and AlGore. He said Osama was the most dangerous man in the world. But no one took him serious, not Reps or Dems. They were as usual to busy fighting with each other.Reagan,Bush,Clinton and Little Bush never took Bin Laden serious, until 9-11.So its not the Dems fault nor the Reps fault but both parties are to blame.and if we dont stop fighting with each other we are going to get our asses blown up again. It may take another 9-11 to get this country headed back on the right path ,together.i hope not.And as Big Al Sharpton says,[Where is Bin Laden?]
