If closing Guantanamo isn't a good idea--well fine. At least talking about it has brought to the forefront the issue of what to do with the people housed there. There is now a lot of talk about what should be done with the prisoners held there. how they should be classified and if they need to be granted trials. If 9/11 took us by surprise and the mistakes we have made with prisoners are a direct result of that then no one should argue with our need to set up procedures to deal with them.
Michelle Malkin doesn't seem to agree. She seems to think that a military tribunal is sufficient. Read her post on the subject to see what Sen. John McCain and Sen. Lindsey Graham have to say.
